We are seeking Software Quality professionals to work as a Trading Software Analyst in our Quality Assurance team. You will be part of our Engineering team that is responsible for the delivered quality of our products. This involves deep familiarity with product’s technical and functional requirements, and working directly with Engineers (typically located in different offices, in different countries). It requires an understanding of system architecture and, an understanding of financial markets and financial instruments. You must also be familiar with testing tools, and methodologies, as well as product development life cycle models such as Agile.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
o Working directly with our developers to investigate working of product features, and analysis of bugs.
o Working with exchanges on testing of new functionality and market upgrades.
o Potential requirement to travel to other offices, and customer sites.
o Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, or Computers/IT.
o 3 to 5 years’ QA experience in working with FIX based systems (e.g. FlexTrade, Ullink, Catalys, Cameron FIX, Sungard etc.).
o Understanding of financial markets, exchanges and financial instruments (options, futures and stocks)
o Excellent knowledge of FIX protocol. Must have complete and hands on familiarity with various FIX messages for session, orders and trade handling.
o An interest in working with and servicing clients
o Basic knowledge of Linux, and SQL
o Be a motivated team player, with excellent problem solving skills
o Stress resistant.
o Familiarity with scripting languages like Python, BASH, etc.
o Familiarity with major programming languages like Java or C, C++ (even though the role is not a developer role).
o Familiarity with automated testing tools, specially those relevant to Capital Markets – Selenium, VeriFIX etc.
