SENIOR SALES MANAGER

SALES AND MARKETING - LONDON

Job description

Working within our New Business Sales team, this role will be responsible for delivering new business cases on Itiviti Trading & Trade Execution products and services, across EMEA.   

The person will be responsible for engaging with firms who are prospective customers (Tier 1 Banks mainly). You’ll be reporting to the VP of New Sales.


 The role includes the following responsibilities:

  • Establish contact with a targeted list of prospects
  • Manage the entire sales process for identified prospects, from initial contact through closure
  • Work closely with Sales Engineers to gather and understand requirements, prepare demos, organize follow-up’s, etc.
  • Work closely with Marketing to produce sales collateral required for the target market
  • Involve Product Management, Professional Services and the Executive team as required.

 Meriting:

  • Evidence of a proven sales record building new business in financial services (5 years min.)
  • Existing network within Tier 1 & Tier 2, in UK or across EMEA
  • Ability to present, discuss and propose at a senior level
  • Experience with pro-active lead generation
  • Specific working knowledge of electronic trading or electronic execution. Sales experience within market making, ETD, OMS, regulations/MiFID II is a plus.
  • Ability to work within a structured sales process that contain multiple deals at various stages 
  • Achieve sales targets while working within a team
  • Communicate and present confidently and concisely
  • Expertise in strategic selling is a plus (Miller Heiman or equivalent)
  • Travels within EMEA when required
