Senior Sales Executive (Toronto)

 Role Overview

Working within our Sales team, this role will be responsible for delivering new business cases on Itiviti Trading & Trade Execution products and services, as well as account management on existing accounts within the Canadian region.  You’ll be reporting to the VP of Sales.

Responsibilities

  • Promote Itiviti’s trading products and services within the region.
  • Manage the entire sales process from initial contact through closure.
  • Work closely with Sales Engineers to gather and understand requirements, prepare demos, organize follow-up’s, etc.
  • Accurately update and forecast a opportunity pipeline using salesforce.
  • Involve Product Management, Professional Services and the Executive team as required.
  • Meet regularly with existing accounts to build relationships, enhance retention, and scout potential opportunities. 

Your profile

  • Evidence of a proven sales record in financial technology (3 years)
  • Existing network of contacts within the Canadian trading segment.
  • A technical background would be very beneficial to this job. 
  • Ability to present, discuss and propose at a senior level.
  • Experience with pro-active lead generation.
  • Specific working knowledge of electronic trading or electronic execution. Sales experience within market making or ETF trading spaces a plus.
  • Ability to work within a structured sales process that contain multiple deals at various stages.
  • Achieve sales targets while working within a team
  • Ability to work independently while being supported remotely by a larger team.
  • Travel within Canada when required (15%)
