Junior Project Manager

Role Overview

We are looking for a motivated Infrastructure Project Manager to join our growing and busy department on a permanent basis. As a member of the infrastructure project management team, you will be planning, executing and finalizing projects according to schedule and within budget. The role comprises of project management and service delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Handling multiple projects simultaneously
• Reviewing and understanding the scope of projects and their contractual components
• Liaising with clients, vendors, networks, architects, sales & other teams to ensure project requirements can be delivered
• Acquiring resources and coordinating the efforts of team members and providers in order to deliver projects according to plan and within the budget
• Setting up meetings with internal teams, vendors or clients: fielding their questions, communicating key messages to promote clear understanding
• Reporting project progress internally and externally
• Anticipating and acting proactively to address issues that arise
• Gathering and updating project materials

Your Profile

• Customer facing with excellent written and verbal communication skills
• You must have good understanding of network terminology, circuit terminology and WAN technology.
• Ability to work in a fast paced, constantly changing environment with the desire and ability to learn quickly
• Proactive and drives for results
• Ability to deal with ambiguity and clarify for others
• Prince2 or equivalent project management qualification (desirable, not essential)
• Possessing a ‘can-do’ attitude with the ability to proactively seek out tasks and anticipate business requirements
• Good attention to detail with the ability to question and say no where necessary
