Reporting directly to the CIO, the IS Director is responsible for ensuring that the information and communications infrastructure is properly designed, tested, implemented and managed on a continuous basis.
You should expect to work extra/weekend hours to undertake planned security maintenance and upgrade work. You could also be called out at any time to resolve crises.
Coming from an computer science degree, you have an extensive career in either engineering, infrastructure or software development. You should have at least 4 years of experience in managing both people and projects in a technical context.
You are familiar with both Cloud and Hosted infrastructure and are able to make informed decisions regarding all aspects of IT (network, server, virtualization, computers, applications or development).
You have already demonstrated your ability to communicate and argue your strategy both with your team and top management.An experience in budget management is a plus.
