Jim Northey, SVP Strategy and Research at Itiviti, gives his top three tips on achieving MiFID II compliance in the final run-up to the January 3rd deadline.
Focusing on the important role that automated testing can play in the re-certification of existing order flows, he warns firms against underestimating the changes that will be required to comply with MiFID II. System interdependency and variability in customer approaches to the implementation of MiFID II will further complicate the situation, making automated testing an even more valuable survival tool in the final scramble to ensuring MiFID II compliance.
