Automated testing – best practice guide

June 22, 2016

What we’ll cover:

Improving onboarding and testing via automation may be more than a differentiator, it may be important for long term viability. The complexity, high transaction rates, the requirement for extreme low latency, the emergence of autonomous algorithmic trading agents in the market, a number of spectacular market anomalies and the resultant regulatory response have increased the scrutiny of venue quality, stability, and testing infrastructure.

The lack of continuous availability to test environments that operate autonomously, the need to provide a more robust testing system, the lack of breadth and depth of testing as well as the reliance on manual testing; all lower the perceived value of certification and onboarding.

This document is a summary of how recommended procedures can enhance quality and service strategies for venues.
